Margie Gaulden Gilbert, MSW, LCSW, PIP, received her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL in 1996. In 1998, Ms. Gilbert received her Master in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL with a concentration in Mental Health; and earned the professional licensure of LGSW in September 1998. In January 2000, Ms. Gilbert became an Eden Alternative Associate. Ms. Gilbert received the licensure of LCSW and PIP in 2002.  Margie is licensed by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners; License #:0601-1666C.

Sue Ann Bingham Brown, MSW, LCSW, PIP, CCJTS, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Mississippi in 1979. Ms. Brown earned the professional licensure of LBSW in the state of Alabama in April 1995. In 1998, Ms. Brown received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Ms. Brown earned the professional licensure of LBSW in 1995, LGSW in 1999, LCSW in 2001, and PIP in 2002. In 2007, Ms. Brown was approved as a Clinical Certified Juvenile Treatment Specialist (CCJTS) by the American College of Forensic Counselors.  Sue Ann is licensed by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners; License #0598-1586C.

Margie Gilbert and Sue Ann Brown formed the business of Gilbert & Brown Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC on June 1, 2002.
